Assessment framework initiative

AI in service of education

A complete assessment framework, built on the official curriculum.

AI will not replace teachers. Within a clear framework, it can strengthen their practice. WASPL is an initiative of Wiquid: we advise institutions, we research, and we build an open-source platform to show that it works.

Advisory first, research behind it, a platform to prove it

Every education actor already has solutions in place. That is where we start.

  • Advisory

Helping education authorities and assessment organisations integrate AI into the systems they already run, in a controlled way.

  • Research

A curriculum-based assessment framework, AI in support of the teacher, and the measurement of AI models on assessment tasks.

  • Platform

WASPL, an open-source demonstrator. It shows that the framework can be built, and tests AI features before we recommend them.

One objective, four requirements

Give every teacher a complete assessment framework, built on the official curriculum.

  • Framework

A default progression, ready to use, that teachers modify freely. Supported, not directed.

  • Assessment-driven

Diagnostic, formative, summative: assessment structures the progression and leads to action.

  • Complete

From curriculum to sequences, from sequences to items, from items to error diagnosis and advice.

  • Official curriculum

The national curriculum is the common anchor: every resource, item and error links to it.

The framework in detail

From isolated tools to a system

AI coordinates differentiated actions and links them into one procedure. Each step is reviewed by the teacher.
